The Australian alternative/progressive rock scene at the turn of the century is synonymous with names like THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT, COG and KARNIVOOL (just to name a few). One of the most iconic and unique sounds was the first of the three that seemingly exploded onto the scene with a nü metal crunch, thick melodic layering and a definitive vocal style that traversed the line between emotive screams and operatic extremes.
Upon the release of their second single So Tired from the upcoming 2022 album release (their first in 14 years - that’s longer than TOOL!) we had the chance to speak to the one and only Clint Boge. The man behind THAT voice. He talks to us about his musical upbringing and how it emerged from that cocoon to give wings to the band we all know and love.
