Front man of THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, William (Billy) Patrick Corgan, let leak earlier this year during an AC/DC Concert in Vienna that he would likely be heading down under for a number of gigs lined up under a solo act, towards the end of the year, and he did not disappoint. Siding the Good Things Festival, Billy is set to play a number of “Solo” shows with band THE DELTA RIGGS, which will include Billy’s solo works, some Smashing Pumpkins favs and well, you’ll have to attend to find out the rest.. But its a sure set to please.
Sense Music Media was there in the pit April last year as THE SMASHING PUMPKINS brought their ‘World is a Vampire Festival’ to our shores traveling 7 of our cities - and a festival it was! The Smashing Pumpkins in the Hordern Pavilion with supports JANES ADDICTION, AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS, BATTLESNAKE, special guests THE VERONICAS and of course Billy’s NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) with our WAOA (Wrestling Alliance of Australia) battling it out in a real pit between sets, see more here, for a concert, it was pretty special to be a part of.
